Chia Seeds are magical, having chia breakfast pudding is even better. These seeds are full of anti-inflammatory omega-3 fatty acids, B vitamins, thiamine, niacin, riboflavin, and folate. When soaked in liquid, it absorbs the liquid and become jelly-like in a good way. I love making Chia pudding bowls for breakfast because they give me the energy I need to start the day. They are also great for dessert or a snack. I top my pudding with anything I can get my hands on in the morning. I love to add nuts and fruit for texture but use anything your heart desires.
As for the milk, I really like using coconut milk because of it’s buttery richness but any milk will do such as almond milk, soy milk, hazelnut, etc. The possibilities are endless. Make sure to make this the night before otherwise you won’t get the full gelatinous texture. I usually like to fill a mason jar with chia seeds and I can take it go in the morning.
